Callaghans Creek Bridge is a 36.45m long, single lane, two span concrete structure including: Bored reinforced concrete piles, Insitu reinforced concrete abutments with wingwals, An insitu reinforced concrete pier, Pre-stressed concrete beams, An insitu reinforced concrete deck with low performance level concrete barriers and Thrie-beam connectors only. Road approaches are approximately 200m long in total and approximately 6.2 m wide and include: Excavation to subgrade, Batter trimming, Stormwater drainage, Dense graded pavement layers and all associated site and safety costs, overheads, testing and conformance requirements. The two-coat seal, Thrie-beam and guardrail protection fencing, together with guide posts were added to Bridge and Civil’s scope of works.
